Paint Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the paint shop area to ensure Q5 product quality, economic efficiency, and environmental compliance.
• Ensure the technical availability of production facilities and monitor risk management within the area of responsibility.
• Detect, analyze, and correct quality and functional deviations.
• Determine and track target values with group leaders and initiate corrective measures when necessary.
• Optimize plants and systems to increase quality and productivity.
• Participate in product and process design during the development process.
• Implement the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with all production system standards (APS).
• Manage internal and external supplier delivery quality through direct communication with process partners.
• Ensure legal requirements for environmental protection are met in coordination with authorities.

Requirements

• Industrial Engineering degree or a related field.
• Proven experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of KPIs and performance tracking.
• English proficiency at a B2 level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of painting processes.
• Proficiency in German.
