Paint Line Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of painting metal including setup, operation, inspection, and material handling
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all assigned tasks
• Perform quality checks at required intervals to ensure product specifications are met
• Operate equipment to meet production targets
• Manage waste generation, including segregation of recyclable and hazardous materials
• Operate waste water neutralization systems and maintain discharge within permit ranges
• Complete production records, quality checks, and labels accurately
• Transport hazardous waste to designated accumulation areas and prepare for shipment

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds continually above shoulder height and below the waist
• Proficiency in basic mathematics including fractions, decimals, and unit conversions
• Ability to read and interpret statistical data and written instructions
• Capability to use computerized equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for long periods
• Ability to move carts in and out of production areas
• High school diploma or GED preferred
