Paint Lead

Responsibilities

• Operate HVLP, Airless, Powder Gun, and brush n roll equipment to apply industrial paint finishes
• Mix paints and other solutions and monitor curing processes
• Complete surface finishing using baking, polishing, or other materials
• Lead and coordinate painting teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Ensure all painting activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Inspect work in progress and finished projects for quality assurance and color matching
• Manage resources including paint supplies, equipment, and manpower
• Troubleshoot adhesion problems, color discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, material usage, and labor hours
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to painting crews

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-10 years of general work experience
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8+ hours daily
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or formal training in production painting
• Proficiency with technology
