About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate HVLP, Airless, Powder Gun, and brush n roll equipment to apply industrial paint finishes
- Mix paints and other solutions for application
- Monitor curing and surface finishing processes including baking and polishing
- Lead and coordinate painting teams to ensure projects meet time, budget, and specification requirements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections
- Manage resources including paint supplies, equipment, and manpower
- Troubleshoot adhesion problems, color discrepancies, and equipment malfunctions
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, material usage, and labor hours
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-10 years of general work experience
- Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8+ hours daily
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening
Preferred Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or formal training in production painting
- Proficiency with technology
