Paint Lead

Responsibilities

• Operate HVLP, Airless, Powder Gun, and brush n roll equipment to apply industrial paint finishes
• Mix paints and other solutions for application
• Monitor curing and surface finishing processes including baking and polishing
• Lead and coordinate painting teams to ensure projects meet time, budget, and specification requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety inspections
• Manage resources including paint supplies, equipment, and manpower
• Troubleshoot adhesion problems, color discrepancies, and equipment malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, material usage, and labor hours

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-10 years of general work experience
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8+ hours daily
• Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening

Preferred Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or formal training in production painting
• Proficiency with technology
