About the role
Responsibilities
- Program and maintain robots and automated equipment to comply with customer specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, including controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, and transfers
- Assist in engineering quality, productivity, and reliability through continuous improvement and cycle time tracking
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure equipment longevity and reliability
- Maintain and monitor safe operations of all equipment and adhere to safe working habits
- Update all related documentation and report daily activities to supervisors
- Manage robot and PLC back-up programs and assist with bowl feeder integration
Requirements
- University Degree or College Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience programming ABB, NACHI, or FANUC robots
- Physical ability to lift up to 75lb
- Strong manual dexterity for using computers and peripherals
- Ability to read and comprehend complex technical instructions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
