Paint Automation Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Design engineering systems for industrial automation and create mechanical design documents for parts, assemblies, and finished products.
• Supervise engineering and technical personnel, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Develop technical methods, processes, and industrial processing systems.
• Test the performance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integrated systems and document results.
• Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
• Conduct feasibility studies regarding the costs and performance benefits of new equipment.
• Research and apply sensors, communication technologies, and control devices for motion and position sensing.
• Create graphical representations of mechanical equipment and maintain technical project files.

Requirements

• University Degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge and/or experience in PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and Process Flow.
• Experience with product development from inception to manufacturing launch, including DFM/A implementation.
• Proven ability to create and execute project plans to achieve identified targets.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience leading effective meetings.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for producing succinct reports and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Quality Control, including problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Sound hands-on technical background with a logical deductive reasoning approach.
