Pain Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients according to current standards
• Advise and train patients and staff
• Participate in the continuous development of nursing standards
• Train and apply complementary nursing methods in pain therapy
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Actively shape and accompany change processes in the clinic
• Collaborate with colleagues from all specialist departments

Requirements

• Completed training as a nursing specialist (m/f/d)
• Several years of professional experience in an acute care hospital
• Proven experience in the nursing support of pain patients
• Completed further training as a Pain Nurse or willingness to complete it
• High interest in continuous professional development
• Desirable: completed nursing-related degree or advanced studies (from 5th semester)
