Pagewide Web Press Writing Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Investigate system settings to balance productivity, image quality, durability, and cost per print
• Support customers and service teams with color management, quality, and workflow processes
• Document and communicate optimal settings and end-to-end configurations for various applications
• Perform qualifications for changes in ink, printheads, hardware, and software features
• Assist Sales and Solutions Architects with product demonstrations and technical customer inquiries
• Provide onsite support to customers and services teams to resolve application quality and productivity issues
• Capture and transfer field feedback and learnings to the broader R&D and organization teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 4+ years of experience working with digital printing technology (Packaging and Commercial presses preferred)
• Proven expertise in problem-solving and analytical methods
• Experience interacting directly with customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of color management systems, print file creation, and job submission
• Ability to work effectively across local and remote R&D and Services organizations
• Highly motivated with the ability to balance technical and business challenges
