Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessment, diagnosis, and management of communication needs for students aged 16–18 with ASD or related profiles
• Deliver targeted interventions including 1:1 therapy, programmes, reports, and recommendations
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and multidisciplinary professionals
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate with staff and families
• Contribute to the development of communication strategies within the school environment

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Eligibility for RCSLT membership
• Experience working with children and young people with ASD and high-functioning profiles
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
