Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Independently assess, diagnose, manage, and evaluate outcomes for children with speech, language, and communication difficulties
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary assessments and child-centred interventions
• Support the development and delivery of innovative therapy approaches
• Monitor progress and maintain evidence-based clinical practice
• Oversee caseload and identify areas of risk or service development opportunities
• Provide professional advice for Education and Health Care Needs Assessments and Plans
• Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in clinical and safeguarding supervision

Requirements

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
• Experience working with children and young people in educational settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
