Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
• Facilitate group sessions and provide individual one-to-one therapy
• Manage a caseload of clients with complex developmental speech and language disorders, learning difficulties, and sensory impairments
• Collaborate with families and educational staff to support communication needs
• Provide training and advice to teachers and caregivers
• Maintain accurate documentation and records to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

• Relevant Speech and Language Therapy qualification
• Registration with the appropriate professional body
• Experience working with children and adolescents (ages 11-19)
• Knowledge of ASD, dyslexia, and learning difficulties
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
