About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy interventions tailored to individual pupil needs
- Support pupils from Year 7 to post-16 with neurodivergent profiles and SEMH needs
- Work closely with school staff and professionals to support communication skills development
- Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Provide training and guidance to educational staff to embed communication strategies into daily practice
Requirements
- HCPC registration
- Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
- Experience working with children and young people with neurodivergent and SEMH needs
- Strong understanding of social communication and language processing difficulties
- Ability to work collaboratively within school settings
