Paediatric Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Assess children with neurodevelopmental conditions to develop individualized physiotherapy programmes
• Provide tailored physiotherapy interventions to progress motor development
• Write accurate SOAP notes and generate comprehensive reports for families and professionals
• Input recommendations for Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP)
• Conduct appointments in clinics, homes, schools, and nurseries
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and coordinate specialist referrals
• Participate in health, social care, and education meetings

Requirements

• HCPC registration
• Relevant degree in Physiotherapy
• Experience working with children in a physiotherapy setting
• Experience working independently and within an MDT
• Solid understanding of typical child development
• Excellent communication skills with children, families, and educators
• Ability to write professional patient notes and reports
• Valid driving licence for community travel
