Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist sensory integration assessments and interventions for children with autism, ADHD, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and other conditions
• Deliver therapy sessions in both clinic and school settings, supporting functional skills and participation
• Conduct EHCP assessments and produce detailed reports
• Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development

Requirements

• HCPC registration and relevant OT qualifications
• Enhanced DBS check
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate paediatric experience
• Sensory Integration training (minimum Module 1) - essential
• Experience working with autistic children and those with complex needs
• Strong clinical reasoning and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• NDT (Neurodevelopmental Therapy) training
• Access to own transport
