About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide direct OT interventions and therapy to pupils as outlined in their EHCPs
- Deliver small group OT sessions and develop individualized or class-based programs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and recommend specialist equipment
- Train parents, carers, and staff in equipment use and safety
- Plan and deliver staff training and parent information sessions
- Maintain accurate clinical records and write detailed reports
- Collaborate with education staff and multi-disciplinary teams
Requirements
- Specialist OT provision experience, particularly with pupils with autism
- Ability to work within an educational setting
- Proficiency in conducting clinical assessments and equipment recommendations
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
