About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct OT interventions and therapy to pupils as outlined in their EHCPs
  • Deliver small group OT sessions and develop individualized or class-based programs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and recommend specialist equipment
  • Train parents, carers, and staff in equipment use and safety
  • Plan and deliver staff training and parent information sessions
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and write detailed reports
  • Collaborate with education staff and multi-disciplinary teams

Requirements

  • Specialist OT provision experience, particularly with pupils with autism
  • Ability to work within an educational setting
  • Proficiency in conducting clinical assessments and equipment recommendations
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
