About the role
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a clinical caseload across multiple schools
- Undertake holistic assessments using clinical observation and specialist knowledge
- Provide evidence-based interventions in line with professional guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, class teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to service development
- Maintain compliance with HCPC regulations and participate in CPD activities
- Promote safeguarding and risk awareness within the workplace
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists
- Experience working in mainstream school settings
- Knowledge of autism spectrum conditions and learning disabilities
- Understanding of safeguarding requirements for young people
