Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a clinical caseload across multiple schools
• Undertake holistic assessments using clinical observation and specialist knowledge
• Provide evidence-based interventions in line with professional guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, class teams, and multidisciplinary colleagues
• Supervise junior colleagues and contribute to service development
• Maintain compliance with HCPC regulations and participate in CPD activities
• Promote safeguarding and risk awareness within the workplace

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists
• Experience working in mainstream school settings
• Knowledge of autism spectrum conditions and learning disabilities
• Understanding of safeguarding requirements for young people
