Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously as a Band 6 Paediatric OT managing a specialist caseload of children and young people with complex physical, learning, and developmental needs
• Deliver assessments and interventions across Early Years settings, mainstream schools, and special schools
• Contribute to EHCPs and MDT reviews
• Provide specialist advice to families, schools, and partner professionals

Requirements

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
• Degree, Diploma, or MSc in Occupational Therapy
• Experience or strong interest in paediatric OT
• Knowledge of child development and developmental/physical disabilities
• Experience using standardised and non-standardised assessments
• Strong report writing skills (EHCP experience desirable)
• Ability to work collaboratively with families, schools, and MDTs
