Paediatric Nurse

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the unique needs of each child
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Monitor patients’ conditions, perform clinical observations, and respond appropriately to any changes
• Communicate effectively with children, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and compassionate care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that supports patient recovery and wellbeing

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid RCN registration
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
