Paediatric Echocardiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform paediatric echocardiograms to diagnose and monitor heart conditions in children
• Work closely with paediatric cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained according to protocols
• Provide support and reassurance to patients and their families during procedures

Requirements

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• Accreditation by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE), EACVI, or ARDMS
• Proven experience as an Echocardiographer
• Specific experience in paediatric echocardiography

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
