About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied paediatric community caseload of children and young people with communication and language difficulties
  • Provide specialist assessment, intervention, and advice tailored to individual needs
  • Liaise closely with families, schools, and other professionals to deliver coordinated care
  • Maintain high-quality, timely clinical records in accordance with HCPC and local NHS policies
  • Participate in service planning and contribute to the development of best practice in the team

Requirements

  • Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Proven experience working with a paediatric caseload, ideally in a community setting
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
