PACS Administrator

Responsibilities

• Manage PACS databases and server groups
• Perform daily management of PACS anomalies and changes processes to prevent recurrence
• Manage daily transcription issues and follow up on all reports not finalized
• Lead imaging IS projects from inception to completion
• Provide input for operations and capital budget requests
• Coordinate and provide direction for end-user training
• Act as a liaison for digital imaging initiatives within the department and across other departments

Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR an Associate's degree, OR a Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ARDMS credential (Medical Sonographer or Vascular Sonography)
• ARRT credential (Radiologic Technologist)
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Science with 2 years of experience
• CIIP or CPAS certifications
