Packing Section Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily packaging operations to ensure products meet specifications, quality standards, and deadlines
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely shipments
• Train, supervise, and provide guidance to packaging team members regarding safety protocols and company policies
• Conduct regular inspections of packaging materials, equipment, and finished goods
• Monitor inventory levels of packaging materials and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate necessary maintenance for packaging machinery
• Implement and optimize packaging processes to improve efficiency and minimize waste
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on packaging progress and productivity

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 0-2 years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or production
• Proficiency in using packaging machinery and tools
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing (e.g., OSHA, ISO)
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Experience in solar manufacturing or a similar industry
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and inventory management software
• Understanding of solar panel manufacturing processes and terminology
