Packer

Responsibilities

• Use bagging machines to bag small parts and components for shipment in a high-volume environment
• Accurately count components according to daily work orders
• Heat seal plastic bags and print appropriate labels
• Stage components for shipment
• Act as a fill-in within the assembly department as required
• Maintain a clean and neat workstation following 6S standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in a packing role
• Ability to lift 40 lbs continuously
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per day
• High attention to detail with strong vision and hearing
• Proficiency in the English language (oral and written)
• Ability to perform repeated physical tasks and follow directions accurately
• Commitment to performing work in a safe manner
