Packer

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemical materials into containers according to specific instructions and recipes
• Follow strict packing procedures, including scanning materials for validation and using weight-assisted computer systems
• Utilize SAP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and weight-assisted computers to manage inventory and production data
• Maintain precise labeling protocols, including selecting correct label sizes, ensuring proper placement, and managing label disposal
• Close containers securely by properly crimping and applying tamper-evident seals
• Uphold strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with quality standards

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, or prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and move product hoses weighing up to 35 lbs
• Ability to tolerate strong odors and allergens

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in chemical manufacturing
