Packer

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemical materials into containers according to specific instructions and recipes
• Follow strict packing procedures, including scanning to validate materials and using weight-assisted computers
• Utilize SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to manage inventory, confirm pack-out, and track scrap loss
• Adhere to labeling protocols, including selecting correct sizes, ensuring proper placement, and managing label disposal
• Close containers by properly crimping and applying tamper-evident seals
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while upholding strict safety and Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift
• Ability to frequently lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs and handle a 35 lb. product hose
• Ability to tolerate strong odors and allergens

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in chemical manufacturing
