Packaging Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging lines on a daily basis within the packaging department
• Perform routine quality and safety checks to ensure products meet specifications and equipment is safe for operation
• Ensure process quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and FDA regulations
• Achieve performance targets for packaging lines and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for deviations or equipment breakdowns
• Perform and assist with preventative maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and line change overs
• Execute 5S and cleaning activities to maintain good manufacturing practices
• Utilize SAP functions for batch reconciliation, cycle counts, material movements, and inventory control

Requirements

• High School diploma
• 3+ years of technical manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or Technical Degree/Certification
