About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely operate, monitor, and adjust packaging equipment in accordance with cGMP guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Perform equipment setup, cleaning, changeovers, and troubleshooting to meet production targets
- Execute basic mechanical adjustments, minor repairs, and part replacements during production runs
- Maintain accurate documentation, including equipment logs, cleaning records, and production tracking tools
- Monitor critical process parameters and product attributes to ensure quality standards are met
- Participate in autonomous maintenance programs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Manage material levels and supplies to support production continuity and reduce waste
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in production, mechanical troubleshooting, or a related field
- Prior manufacturing or packaging experience, including equipment setup and changeovers
- Ability to routinely lift up to 55 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with cGMP documentation
- Experience with lean manufacturing concepts, tools, or techniques
- Knowledge of SAP, Proficient, or Informance
