Packaging Technical Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, monitor, and adjust packaging equipment in accordance with cGMP guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Perform equipment setup, cleaning, changeovers, and troubleshooting to meet production and quality standards
• Execute basic mechanical adjustments, minor repairs, and part replacements during production runs
• Maintain accurate documentation, including equipment logs, cleaning records, and production tracking tools
• Monitor critical process parameters and product attributes to ensure quality compliance
• Participate in autonomous maintenance programs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Manage material levels and supplies to support production continuity and reduce waste

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in production, mechanical troubleshooting, or a related field
• Prior manufacturing or packaging experience, including equipment setup and changeovers
• Ability to routinely lift up to 55 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
• Basic computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with cGMP documentation
• Experience with lean manufacturing concepts, tools, or techniques
• Knowledge of SAP, Proficient, or Informance
