Packaging Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line equipment including tablet/capsule fillers, cappers, labelers, and case formers
• Execute packaging operations in strict accordance with approved documentation and SOPs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following PPE and EHS standards
• Perform equipment cleaning, line clearance, and changeover activities
• Complete required documentation such as batch records, room logbooks, and verification checks
• Stage and transfer packaging materials and bulk products as needed
• Respond to equipment alarms and troubleshoot issues to minimize production impact
• Stack finished goods, shrink-wrap pallets, and operate pallet jacks or palletizers safely

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in an FDA-regulated packaging environment (desired)
• Proficiency in navigating HMI screens for various packaging equipment
• Ability to perform basic math functions related to packaging orders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Ability to stand for approximately 6 hours per shift
• Vision accuracy and color detection capabilities
