Packaging Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform manual packaging tasks including bagging, wrapping, labeling, boxing, and palletizing
• Manually apply cheese and ingredients to the appropriate production lines
• Restock packaging materials such as boxes, tape, glue, and film into machines
• Monitor production flow and remove or reapply non-conforming products as needed
• Set up, adjust, monitor, and perform general operating maintenance on production equipment
• Ensure product quality through regular inspections, tests, and accurate documentation
• Validate ingredients and materials used in the production process
• Handle cleaning chemicals and perform necessary sanitation duties
• Maintain accurate paperwork and inventory system transactions

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb steps or safety ladders
• Commitment to maintaining good sanitation and housekeeping practices
• Ability to work a night shift (10pm-6:30am) with regular attendance
