Packaging Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform manual packaging tasks including bagging, wrapping, labeling, boxing, and palletizing
• Restock packaging materials such as boxes, tape, glue, and film into machines
• Monitor production flow and remove defective products as needed
• Set up, adjust, monitor, and perform general operating maintenance on production equipment
• Ensure product quality through regular inspections, tests, and accurate documentation
• Validate ingredients and materials used in the production process
• Handle cleaning chemicals and perform necessary sanitation duties
• Complete paperwork and inventory system transactions accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Physical stamina for continuous walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling
• Knowledge of sanitation and housekeeping practices
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner while complying with quality and regulatory requirements
