Packaging Operator III

Responsibilities

• Support the setup, changeover, and packaging of pharmaceutical products in a fast-paced finishing operation.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures to facilitate a proactive safety culture.
• Perform housekeeping cleans, line clearances, and equipment blowing on finishing lines.
• Operate and service automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
• Execute quality-impactful tasks including in-process checks, pulling samples, and bulk accountability.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Maintain 6S standards for parts and tooling across the production floor.
• Escalate safety, quality, or technical issues to appropriate engineering and mechanical teams in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications.
• Must be able to work the B2 night shift (7pm-7:30am Wednesday-Friday & every other Saturday).

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical experience and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Technical certificate or degree.
• Experience with systems such as POMs, SAP, and MAXIMO.
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements and procedures.
