Packaging Operator I

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and housekeeping tasks consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Maintain equipment and tools in a clean and safe operating condition
• Read production schedules and coordinate material requirements and goods movements
• Stage totes and materials as required for the shift
• Monitor and record all necessary packaging, cleaning, and sanitation documentation
• Accurately record case counts, line events, downtime, and SKU changes in the Plant Cockpit system
• Troubleshoot SAP discrepancies and make necessary adjustments
• Function in compliance with all safety requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency
• 2-4 years of packaging operator experience in a regulated environment
• Experience working in a Pharmaceutical, OTC, or GMP environment
• Proficiency with SAP
• Strong computer literacy
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and maneuver equipment
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision
