Packaging Operator I

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging operations and maintain cleanliness standards consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Maintain equipment and tools in a clean, safe, and functional operating condition.
• Monitor and record all necessary packaging, cleaning, and sanitation documentation.
• Accurately record case counts, line events, downtime, and SKU changes in the Plant Cockpit system.
• Stage totes and materials as required by the production schedule.
• Troubleshoot SAP discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
• Function in compliance with all safety requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in daily shift communications and department meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
• 2-4 years of packaging operator experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience working in a Pharmaceutical, OTC, or GMP environment.
• Proficiency with SAP and strong computer literacy.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and maneuver heavy equipment.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision.
