About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform packaging operations and maintain cleanliness standards consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain equipment and tools in a clean, safe, and functional operating condition.
- Monitor and record all necessary packaging, cleaning, and sanitation documentation.
- Accurately record case counts, line events, downtime, and SKU changes in the Plant Cockpit system.
- Stage totes and materials as required by the production schedule.
- Troubleshoot SAP discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
- Function in compliance with all safety requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in daily shift communications and department meetings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
- 2-4 years of packaging operator experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience working in a Pharmaceutical, OTC, or GMP environment.
- Proficiency with SAP and strong computer literacy.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and maneuver heavy equipment.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with limited supervision.
