Packaging Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and control automated packaging machinery, including baggers, Big Bags, labeling machines, palletizers, and shrink wrap machines
• Execute shift changes and product changeovers according to established orders
• Perform auxiliary tasks such as material supply and removal of fine materials
• Store finished products correctly using a forklift
• Monitor material levels and notify when stock reaches minimum thresholds
• Continuously verify product and process quality throughout the shift
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industrial hygiene standards
• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and tankers
• Complete necessary documentation for goods and weigh incoming/outgoing vehicles
• Collaborate with Production, Laboratory, and Maintenance departments

Requirements

• EGB, ESO, or equivalent educational background
• Minimum of 6 months of experience operating automated packaging machines in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of and compliance with ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 50001, HACCP, and FAMI QS standards
• Training in Food Safety and HACCP
• Ability to proactively detect quality deviations and ensure product traceability
• Collaborative attitude and strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid forklift license
