Packaging Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment to complete processes and finished products for shipping following routine SOPs
• Load packaging materials, clear jams, reset faults, and perform machine changeovers
• Conduct regular quality checks and adhere to GMP standards to ensure product integrity
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks such as lubrication and inspections
• Comply with all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and proper use of PPE
• Report safety hazards and submit corrective work order requests into the MIS system

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and email communications
• Ability to lift/carry 10-50 lbs and push/pull 50-300 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in hot, cold, or wet conditions
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, and operate in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or operational experience
• Knowledge of food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and HACCP
• Experience with packaging or process machinery
