Packaging Leadperson

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of 14+ people during shift operations of the packaging department
• Ensure the packaging of correct products according to specifications
• Oversee shift operations to ensure safe working practices and enforcement of all company policies and procedures
• Manage packaging workflows to maintain production efficiency

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Mechanical abilities and a willingness to learn new processes
• Ability to work comfortably at heights
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Proven track record of good attendance
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift for extended periods in varying temperatures and noise levels
• Availability to work occasional weekends, holidays, or off-hours for emergency conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of milling procedures
