Packaging I

Responsibilities

• Provide labor to package finished products, including labeling, stacking, and making shipping boxes
• Load and unload trucks of plant supplies
• Dispose of hazardous waste in appropriate containers
• Operate date/lot coding, stencil marking, and case labeling equipment
• Perform routine work area cleanup using 5S methodology
• Assist with equipment activation/deactivation using Lock-Out/Tag-Out programs
• Report unsafe working conditions to supervisors

Requirements

• Ability to carry 55 lb. packages up to 6 feet
• Ability to read and understand SDS information
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to communicate changes or emergency information verbally

Preferred Qualifications

• High school education
• 1 year of manufacturing experience
