About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct machine start-up, operation, and shutdown for assigned equipment areas
- Perform initial troubleshooting of equipment and production issues, making adjustments as needed
- Engage in quality assurance activities including sensory evaluation, sampling, and testing
- Load and unload materials and finished products, including operating forklifts
- Adhere to Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs) and checklists to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Train new personnel and team members as required
Requirements
- Previous experience with high-speed production equipment
- Solid mechanical skills and basic computer proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret reports, instructions, and procedures
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs overhead and push/pull weights up to 76 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, and crawl frequently throughout a shift
