Packaging Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities to develop, design, test, and implement packaging solutions for wire harnesses and electrical components
• Engineer packaging solutions to preserve product integrity throughout the supply chain and optimize transportation
• Develop packaging engineering specifications, drawings, and material specifications
• Coordinate testing and validation activities by designing protocols and interpreting data
• Perform packaging VAVE activities to identify cost savings and improve performance
• Manage packaging projects to support new program launch readiness
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for packaging quality concerns

Requirements

• BS Packaging degree or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of experience in Packaging Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
