Packaging Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cutting-edge supply-chain and packaging strategies for major industrial projects.
• Define optimal supply-chain organization, resources, and processes to ensure safety, quality, and customer service.
• Calculate project budgets, including cost per part and necessary investments, to ensure accurate quotations.
• Design and optimize physical and information flows from suppliers to customers.
• Develop functional specifications for packaging solutions and oversee packaging trials and customer approvals.
• Support supplier selection through technical validation, audits, and FMEA participation.
• Provide hands-on support during production start-up and ramp-up phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience in industrial or logistics environments (similar to a Plant Logistics Engineer role).
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills for multicultural environments.
• Ability to relocate to Toledo, OH.
• Strong dedication to safety, leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset.
