Packaging Engineer – Gifting – Package Innovation

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of packaging for giftable products and gift sets, from initial concept to commercial launch.
• Manage project governance, timelines, and risks to ensure smooth delivery across all stages of packaging development and New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Coordinate component and artwork development, including supplier alignment, approvals, and color standards.
• Create and maintain accurate specifications, data, and Bills of Materials (BOM) to support production and supply chain systems.
• Support pilot runs, line trials, and validation to ensure packaging is production-ready and meets technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing.
• Identify opportunities for packaging innovation by staying updated on new technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Degree in Packaging Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in packaging development within the cosmetics, pharma, or consumer goods industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of packaging materials, suppliers, and development processes.
• Excellent organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in presenting ideas to stakeholders.
• A creative and commercially aware mindset focused on consumer-driven solutions.
• Ability to work effectively across global teams with cultural awareness.
