Packaging Associate

Responsibilities

• Move products from machines to the warehouse to prepare for shipment
• Inspect products for visual defects and complete required documentation
• Adhere to specific packaging requirements and aseptic procedures for each product
• Accurately position boxes, bins, and pallets using hand packing methods
• Read rulers to the nearest 1/16th and use basic math for measurements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and SQF expectations
• Report recurring defects or machine deficiencies to management immediately
• Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and clearing scrap/recyclables

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D required
• Ability to work all shifts and perform overtime as needed
• Ability to read a ruler and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to perform physical tasks related to packaging and material movement
