About the role
Responsibilities
- Move products from machines to the warehouse to prepare for shipment
- Inspect products for visual defects and complete required documentation
- Adhere to specific packaging requirements and aseptic procedures for each product
- Accurately position boxes, bins, and pallets using hand packing methods
- Read rulers to the nearest 1/16th and use basic math for measurements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and SQF expectations
- Report recurring defects or machine deficiencies to management immediately
- Assist with machine setups, changeovers, and clearing scrap/recyclables
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D required
- Ability to work all shifts and perform overtime as needed
- Ability to read a ruler and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to packaging and material movement
