Packaging Associate/Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed packaging machinery, including Bartelt, SN, and Jones machines
• Maintain quality and quantity of pouches according to production standards
• Perform weight and quality checks every 15 to 60 minutes to ensure ingredient accuracy
• Clear machine jams and perform mechanical adjustments on packaging lines
• Retrieve and load packaging materials onto machines
• Use computer systems to retrieve changeover information and settings
• Report mechanical or electrical malfunctions to the appropriate maintenance staff
• Update Line KPI information and graphs as required

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of recent, continuous experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime
