Packager II

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate food safety and product integrity issues to appropriate personnel
• Follow all standard operating procedures and recommend improvements
• Execute procedures dictated by Floor Travelers for each specific product
• Instruct subordinate staff and temporary employees on job-specific tasks
• Report unsafe conditions or acts to the Production Supervisor or management
• Maintain effective, efficient, and safe work practices at all times
• Perform regular housekeeping duties to maintain a clean workspace

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team
• Exceptional attendance, work ethic, and reliability
• Strong math aptitude and commitment to safety protocols
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to a height of 48 inches on a routine basis
• Ability to work in an environment with dust and noise
