Package Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate package engineering activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards
• Manage multidisciplinary teams by defining roles, delegating tasks, and supporting professional development
• Oversee engineering planning, progress monitoring, and reporting to ensure alignment with project milestones
• Coordinate with procurement, vendors, and subcontractors, including managing technical bid evaluations and vendor follow-up
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE, QA/QC standards, and international engineering codes and regulations
• Support bidding and tendering activities, including cost estimation, technical documentation, and proposal preparation
• Manage interfaces across disciplines to ensure proper information flow and technical integration
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge capitalization to enhance engineering methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or a related Engineering discipline
• 8–12 years of engineering experience, specifically as a Package Engineer or Package Manager
• Proven experience within oil & gas, energy, or EPC projects
• Strong knowledge of package engineering design, workflows, and the full project lifecycle
• Expertise in vendor management, technical bid evaluation, and procurement processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with engineering software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages such as Italian, French, or Arabic are a plus
