Package Handler – Warehouse Clerk

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors
• Use power and manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed sort lines
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan using handheld devices
• Place packages in designated areas for delivery or Linehaul teams
• Stage sorted freight in designated load-out areas
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections to maintain a safe environment

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg)
• Ability to use handheld technology and scanning devices
• Ability to operate manual and powered jacks
• Availability for a minimum of 3 days per week (2 weekdays and 1 weekend)
