Package Handler

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors
• Use power and manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed sort lines
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the established sort plan
• Operate handheld devices and technology to prepare orders
• Stage sorted freight in designated load-out areas
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections to maintain a safe environment

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg)
• Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week
• Availability to work both weekdays and weekends
• Ability to operate handheld scanning devices
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
