Package Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development and commercialization of packaging components across assigned product categories
• Manage component specifications, bills of materials (BOM), and ensure product data accuracy
• Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to deliver projects on time and to required quality standards
• Drive innovation in packaging solutions and contribute to cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support sustainability efforts, including environmentally friendly packaging, waste reduction, and resource conservation
• Resolve technical packaging challenges to ensure smooth manufacturability and performance

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in FMCG within Supply Chain or a relevant technical/commercial function
• Proven expertise in packaging development and product commercialization
• Strong experience managing product data, including specifications and BOMs
• Experience working directly with suppliers, vendors, or contract manufacturers
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of or experience in sustainability practices and environmentally friendly design
