Package Designer II

Responsibilities

• Design and assemble complex primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems
• Create sketches, 3D renderings, and visual presentations of packaging concepts
• Develop and modify structural drawings and web layouts using CAD platforms
• Perform prototyping duties in the on-site laboratory, including equipment maintenance
• Manage R&D activities and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Provide design consultation, conceptualization, and package performance testing
• Mentor junior designers and interns while supporting project planning and execution

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 2+ years of related industry experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Artios-CAD
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with thermoforming design and manufacturing technologies
• Experience with unit dose blister design and manufacturing
• Experience with folding carton and wallet card design
• Knowledge of flexible packaging and materials
• Strong project management and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
