About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and assemble complex primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems
- Create sketches, 3D renderings, and visual presentations of packaging concepts
- Develop and modify structural drawings and web layouts using CAD platforms
- Perform prototyping duties in the on-site laboratory, including equipment maintenance
- Manage R&D activities and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Provide design consultation, conceptualization, and package performance testing
- Mentor junior designers and interns while supporting project planning and execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2+ years of related industry experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Artios-CAD
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with thermoforming design and manufacturing technologies
- Experience with unit dose blister design and manufacturing
- Experience with folding carton and wallet card design
- Knowledge of flexible packaging and materials
- Strong project management and communication skills

- Ability to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated original thinking and creativity in design solutions
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
